I still have an idea to explore how place impacts on identity and how one’s identity shapes the environment but I think that the concept I have come up with is subtly different. In that I take a place I am connected with and see how it’s identity and meaning is changed by applying it’s “what3words” geotag.

what3words’ is a telephone app which has divided the whole world into 3 meter squares and assigned a combination of 3 unique words to each square.

The idea is that you can pinpoint your position much more accurately than a street name
