This like a transference of memory from family members, where an image triggers a graphic story or description that is remembered by a younger generation who that memory forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-default is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">\u201cPostmemory characterises the experience of those who grew up<br>dominated by particular narratives that have preceded their own birth<br>and therefore in that sense, they are memories that can be described<br>as having been \u2018passed down a generation.\u201d<\/span><\/p><cite>Hirsch. Pg 22.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The present pandemic has had a traumatic effect on many people, much like surviving a disaster movie.
